New Ratliff R-5. Audey Ratliff has been building mandolins since 1982 at his shop in Church Hill, Tennessee. We've been a dealer for nearly twenty years, but this is the first one we've been able to get for quite a while. If you want a quality hand built instrument at a resaonable price, Audey's mandolins are a bargain on today's market (he's a really nice person, also). Pics Sumi Custom Dawg model in birds eye maple. This stunning mandolin was built for display at the 2009 IBMA trade show, and if you attended this event you probably saw and played it. Even the pick guard is birds eye maple! Of course it sounds at least as great as it looks, as do all Sumi mandolins. If you are looking for something really unusual, look no further. Pics Sumi F-5 Deluxe with Fern inlay. We only get a couple of new Sumi mandolins a year. If you've ever played one you already know what fantastic instruments they are. This one is no exception! Pics Sumi F-5 Deluxe with Rose inlay. This instrument is technically new, but it has cosmetic issues from being used as a display model at trade shows. The peghead overlay has some vertical cracks (which could be easily repaired, but are not a problem if left as is) and a few minor scuff marks on the back, which I imagine could be buffed out if so desired. Pics Sumi Mandola. Pictures dont do this instrument justice! Sumi doesnt build a mandola often, and this is the first one weve ever had in the shop. Not surprisingly, it sounds as good as it looks. Pics 2002 Sumi S-5. This model is now called the F-5 Deluxe. Flowerpot inlay in peghead. Hokkaido Red Spruce top. We rarely get a used Sumi mandolin, and this one is in practically new condition!
