Gibson S. S.
Stewart, circa 1930s. Gibson produced many banjos similar to
its style 11 under the name Kel Kroydon, and a much smaller number
under the name S. S. Stewart. The pot is identical to the style
11, as is the fingerboard. The peghead, however, has a different
shape and, of course, the S. S. Stewart name. |
